The 9.5xp winch features an all new, High Output Parallel Series Wound winch motor that's the strongest and most durable in the industry. The 6 hp motor, 3-stage planetary gearing and continuous duty control pack work in sync to tackle the most demanding pulls.

Full face contact drum seals, motor and end housing gaskets deliver extreme-duty water resistance.

Spring-loaded control switches ensure safe operation and four Solenoids provide emergency back up. 3-Stage Planetary Gears with a 216:1 Ratio deliver smooth line pull. Up to 150ft of 5/16" cable are included. Weather-shielded solenoids. Color-coded cables and connectors. Mounting kit required.

• Q) How to choose a vehicle self-recovery winch:
  Take the gross weight of the vehicle* and multiply by 1.5 - this is the minimum size winch for the vehicle.*Gross vehicle weight of vehicle is located on the driver's door, on the inside panel.
• Q) What is the duty cycle on your winches?
  Warn winches are rated for intermittent use. Many factors will effect the duty cycle of a winch. These factors would include: Battery condition, heat, age of winch, length of cable off the drum, and the condition of the electrical system in the vehicle.
• Q) What do you recommend I use to grease my wire rope with?
  Warn uses a high quality aircraft grade of galvanized wire rope. Therefore, our wire rope does not require any lubrication from the factory. There are spray lubricants that can be purchased thru wire rope dealers and can be used if desired, but they are not required.
